Yesterday
night there were heavy downpours in Chokwé. Our brave Hilario, still recovering
from his leg wound, had to evacuate his parents to a refugee area even further
from town. His father has difficulty walking as he suffers from poor health.
Once he left them more protected, Hilario went to a friend’s house in Xai-Xai
to be assisted in the local hospital – his wound is still not healed and he
needs further medical care.
Hilario
is the ALG Local Technician in SVP school (Chokwé) and also one of our
hardworking but very poor university scholarship students, studying Management
in Chokwé University.
