Albino's Mum has now a new income source!
Albino's Mum, one of our children in
the Sponsorship Programme supported by UPG Portugal, has a stand where she
sells various products in order to guarantee financial support for her family
and to ensure Albino and his siblings’ well-being and education.
The Income Generation programme is
focused on family and small-scale activities, at household or community level,
and provides self-sufficiency opportunities and the development of small
industry, agriculture or local trade so as to boost the local economy and generate
long term economic sustainability in communities in need. Albino's Mum is an example of strength,
determination, hard work and she is contributing to women empowerment levels in
Mozambique.
