Joy and sadness, sadness as it all passes so quickly and there is so little I can do... but joy from knowing the little gestures I make are received with the greatest gratitude and are immensely useful.The children, the ones we deal more with, are so sweet and really appreciative of our simple presence. They teach us that capacity too. I feel like the learning is mutual and that the bonds we create are getting stronger each day. The way I was received with open arms in this land was incredible!! I hope I can continue to give them as much as they the have given me already."

June is the Month of the Little Ones at ALG!
Pre-school education is the first step of basic education for children from 2-3 years old. Pre-school education looks to fully develop the child in a stimulating environment, in setting that is welcoming and encouraging of learning capabilities.
We support 125 children in two pre-schools in Mozambique, Escolinha Flor da Infancia ("EFI") and Escolinha Sta Catarina ("ESC"). With only €76 per year we can provide each child with breakfast, lunch, teachers and school materials.
