In May, A Little Gesture provides again a roof to those in greater need.

Please help a Little Gesture providing a roof and dignified living conditions to underprivileged children and their families in the rural neighbourhoods of Chongoene and Xai-Xai.

In May 2011, ALG raised £1,270 to build huts for the Mozambican families. We have already built 15 family huts since 2009.

In the rural neighborhoods of Chongoene and Xai-Xai, the family huts are made of reed and therefore unable to resist to the heavy rains and winds that often affect the region.

The winds come inside the huts from everywhere and the children sleep on the floor, in very few cases on mats. There are no blankets, mattress or beds. The huts have a unique room that can accommodate 5 to 10 people.

From £700, the lives of such families can be materially different. ALG can build a new enhanced hut, water and wind proof, with two different divisions, as well as windows and doors. One family could also have mats, chairs and even a pan to cook meals.

Every Little Gesture is one small “brick” to for these families. Make your contribution now!

In May, Your Little Gesture can contribute to build a different future.
