A Little Gesture in March: Month of the Milk
SMILES WITH "MILK MOUSTACHES" ARE STRONGER!
This month, make your Little
Gesture and create smiles with “milk moustaches” in Mozambique! With only 50
pence, a child can drink milk for a month!
In March 2011, we raised £528 in our first Milk Campaign. It was a
success! You generosity assured a full year of milk on our Pre-Schools in
Mozambique, Escolinha Flor da Infância
and Escolinha de Santa Catarina. This
year, these 130 children aged 3 to 6
years old do not have "milk moustaches" yet. But with your help,
they can start having them! With just £5, each child can have 2 glasses of milk
per week during a whole year.
At this age, the recommended daily dosage of milk is 3 glasses to ensure
the adequate development of every child. Milk is a very scarce good to most of
the population in Mozambique and not accessible to most. Help us, again, to
give milk to the children in the ALG Pre-Schools!
